GOOD ALWAYS COMES FROM THE ONES WILLING TO SERVE

Today is the day the Lord has made and I will rejoice and be glad in it.
What a great day to fellowship with other volunteer s at the church. We were served a great breakfast this morning for appreciation of volunteering. When you serve the joy God brings to you in abundance is overwhelming.
His joy is everlasting.
Colossians 3:23-24
Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ.
James 1:27
Religion that is pure and undefiled before God, the Father, is this; to visit orphans and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained from the world.
Philippians 2:5-8 Have this attitude in yourselves which has also Christ Jesus, who,. although He existed in the form of God, did not regard equality with God a thing to be grasped. But emptied of himself, taking the form of a bondservant, and being made in the likeness of men.
We are to empty ourselves of ourselves and fill ourselves with God Holy Spirit to want to serve for Christ.
How sad it is my friend when in today’s church so many sit on the pews and go through the motions of coming to church and that’s the end of their serving.
